Back Country Eco Tour

FishSkinner charters holds a great appreciation for our natural Florida habitats. We feel that it is important to share our rich natural and cultural attractions with our guests from all over the country. Our Eco friendly tour is an excursion that the whole family can enjoy!

From the minute we leave the boat ramp you'll encounter a variety of birds such as Pelicans, Herons, Egrets, Frigates and Anhingas. Along our journey we'll certainly discover a few frolicking Dolphin. The dolphin population in our water ways are plentiful. Some of them regulars and very friendly. These marine mammals are very smart and can tend to be a nuisance. Especially while fishing, they'll try to sneak attack the bait fish (it's kind of cute). Manatees, Florida's gentle giant are more abundant in the back bays during the warmer months. In the wintertime they make their way up into the river near the water plant to stay warm. They are Playful and extremely friendly. Us locals like to call them, "Sea Cows". Join us for not only an educational experience but a great opportunity to get up close and personal with some of Florida's beautiful sea life while enjoying a scenic boat ride through Fort Myers and Sanibel Islands abundant culture.

What to expect on your charter
Our 2 hour tour offers an Eco friendly excursion of our back bays while viewing the birds, dolphins, and manatees.

Our 3 hour tour offers an Eco friendly charter of our back bays while viewing the birds, dolphins, and manatees. We'll then make a stop at Picnic Island where tyour family can get out and enjoy walking or playing on the island. We also have nets and buckets for the kids to enjoy.

Our 4 hour tour includes an Eco friendly charter of our back bays while viewing the birds, dolphins, and manatees. We'll then make a stop at Picnic Island where the family can get out and enjoy walking or playing on the island. Then enjoy a stop for lunch at a local water front restaurant, ironically called the Waterfront.
