We Had A Great Time Fishing In Fort Myers

My son Kyle and I had a great time fishing with Captain Wes, while we were in Fort Myers on vacation.  I asked him if he could pick us up early so we could catch bait with him to see how it was done.  He was more than willing to have us tag along and was very informative on every aspect of the process.   I was impressed with his level of professionalism and his great attitude with my son and all his twenty questions.  Kyle caught his 1st redfish on this charter and we'll fish with Captain Wes again for his first tarpon when we're back on Sanibel in the summer.  Thanks Capt Wes!

Took Friends From Texas Fishing

A couple of friends and I were in town from Texas and booked a fishing trip with Captain Wes. We felt very comfortable being on his boat. He made us feel like one of his buddies. We had a mini fishing tournament with the 3 of us to see who could catch the biggest fish. I won because they all cheated, lol. He's a great captain with a lot of local knowledge. Thanks for the fun time!

Fishing And Shelling

Sanibel Island is our favorite place to visit for vacations. We come twice a year, winter and end of spring. This Spring we decided to book a fishing and shelling trip with Captain Wes. We went shelling and then stopped by Cabbage Key for lunch. He then took us fishing. We really did not know what to expect because we had never fished on our Sanibel trips before. We ended up catching shark and some snook. The shark were a blast! We had a great time with the fishing and shelling combo. It really gives you a chance to enjoy your day on the water and see parts of Sanibel that you cant see from land. Thanks again. I think we will make it a tradition.

One Fine Day

I recently booked a fishing and shelling charter with FishSkinner Charters while visiting from Orlando. I was a little concerned with the timing because Florida had just had a very bad fish kill due to months of cold snaps earlier in the year. I could not resist the temptation to get a little fishing in while I was on Sanibel, so I booked it anyways. I am sure glad I did. My family and I ended up catching fish after fish. We brought in over 20 fish that day. Redfish, snook, and huge Snapper. We went shelling on Cayo Costa, which is beautiful by the way and had a blast! We would highly recommend booking a fishing trip if your ever in the Fort Myers area with Capt. Wes! We will be back later this summer for some tarpon fishing.

Our Sanibel and Fort Myers Fishing Charter

Sanibel and Ft. Myers Fishing Charter My family of 5 booked a shelling and fishing trip with FishSkinner Charters. We started of the day shelling on Cayo Costa and would have been satisfied with just that because the beach and the views were amazing. The kids collected a good amount of shells, while there dad and I sat in beach chairs next to the water and took in the view. We then took the second half of the day to go fishing. We have fished the Sanibel Islands before when we visited the Fort Myers area, but did not catch nearly what we caught this time with Captain Wes. My son who is 10 caught a nice Redfish, while my husband ended up catching a Redfish that was too big to keep. We very much enjoyed fishing and shelling with Captain Wes Skinner and would gladly book a charter again. Thanks for such a memorable day!
